Books with a sense of place.
Readable Cities Editions creates collectible, design-led editions of literature rooted in place — revealing the city within the book, and the books hidden within the city.
The publishing arm of Readable Cities
Readable Cities Editions is the publishing arm of Readable Cities: a collection of beautifully designed books that explores the relationship between literature and place.
The imprint will create collectible editions of important and rediscovered works, beginning with the writers, cities and cultural networks associated with modernism and the Lost Generation. Each book will be treated as a designed object — not simply a reprint — with exceptional typography, paper, printing and binding.
Readable Cities brings literature into the physical city. Readable Cities Editions brings the city into the book.
